✨Re:Memorize✨ is scheduled for late 2024, but...

It's time for an update!

Chapter 5 is about 50% completed. All that's left to do is:

• Backgrounds —— (2/6)
• CGA —— (0/5 [6?])
• Music —— (0/1)
• Sounds ——
• Code —— (50%)
• Misc ——

 This chapter is taking me a lot longer than I had imagined. Along with the VN Jam I was in, there was a delay in starting on the backgrounds. My apologies... 😞

On the flip side, Chapter 6 is really short, so it won't take as long to finish. 👍

Art Preview:

This character is currently a work in progress and won't be making an appearance until much later. (Maybe Chapter 7) He's relatively important in the story...

I'm not exactly sure when I'll finish all 6 required backgrounds, but my goal is before the end of January. One background usually takes approximately 1 week.

Roadmap for 2024: 📅

"The planned release date for Re:Memorize is late 2024."

That was what I said when I relaunched the Kickstarter page back in July of 2022. It's been more than a year since then, and I'm about 1/3 of the way finished.

From the looks of things, as well as the speed I'm going, I believe I would only be able to finish the Main Storyline chapters by the end of 2024, and the Side chapters will subsequently be released in 2025 as the year progresses + the True Ending.

So before it looked like this: (Back in July 2022)

•  2022: First five chapters of the Main Storyline.
•  2023: Last five chapters of the Main Storyline + True Ending
•  2024: Side Chapters + Touch-up and Finalizing

To now looking like this: (Currently in December 2023)

•  2024: Last five chapters of the Main Storyline.
•  2025: Side Chapters + True Ending + Touch-up/Finalizing
•  2026 (?): Artbook and OST

Re:Memorize is taking me a lot longer than I initially hoped. Maybe I was on hopium or something. Being too ambitious. (lol) But hey, it's not impossible. Still do-able!

Backers, let me know your thoughts, or if there are any issues with this timeline. I tend to over-work myself quite a bit and don't take enough breaks. (People are forcing me to take breaks, I swear...) And so I end up feeling kinda bad for not finishing the chapters faster... 

Conclusion:

My editor is finally back in action! 🥳 Editing will be resuming where it was last left off (Back in Chapter 3.1)

I'm almost done revising Chapter 6. So once that's finished, I'll have that turned into code asap.

I'm juggling a lot at the moment, and experiencing mental fatigue. The next couple of months is kinda up in the air —— but I want Chapter 5 to be done before the end of March, and that's the latest I'll have it done.
